Laser Induced Gold Nanoparticle Egg-White Protein Conjugation and Thermal Denaturation

Abstract

Spectroscopic study of laser induced one-step conjugation of gold nanoparticles to egg-white protein shows shift in amide I β-sheet structure of protein and thermal denaturation of proteins due to localized heating of gold nanoparticles.
