An experiment to measure the Goos-Hanchen shift

Abstract

We propose an experiment to measure the Goos-Hanchen shift using interference. In our setup both s and p polarized beams are used simultaneously and they interfere after reflection from the sample surface, to be compared with the help of a polarizer. We also present actual results from this method.
