Abstract

Strong anti-phase intensity noise reduction is experimentally and theoretically shown for dual-frequency Nd:YAG lasers. This phenomenon is obtained by aligning the two orthogonally polarized modes along the crystallographic axes of a (100)-cut Nd:YAG crystal.
