Designing High-Performance Fiber Laser with Triangular-Lattice Photonic Crystal Fiber

Abstract

Designing a high-performance fiber laser with triangular-lattice PCF is reported. Using finite-difference mode-calculation algorithm devised with population-propagation rate-equation, we perform a series study by varying associated fiber parameters in achieving this result with reduced splice-loss.
