Study of CW and pulsed amplification in Yb-doped fiber amplifier

Abstract

We have studied and amplified CW and pulsed seed signal at 1064nm in Yb-doped fiber amplifier to achieve CW output power of 6.2W and an average pulsed output power of 330mW with 33ns pulse duration.
