Optical solitons supported by localized gain in the presence of two-photon absorption

We report the existence of optical (dark and bright) solitons, with trivial and nontrivial phase, for nonlinear Schrödinger equation incorporating the effect of two-photo absorption and localized gain. Fractional-transform solitons are also explored for this model.
