Abstract

We demonstrated the generation of high power terahertz pulse above 250 kV/cm electric field using LiNbO3. We performed transmission spectroscopy in amino-acid at different electric field amplitude and observe nonlinear absorption. We also demonstrated fast 3D terahertz computed tomography by using intense terahertz beam. Peak-to-peak amplitude of the pulse and a standard reconstruction algorithm were provide a final 3D reconstruction of image with a total acquisition time to only 6 minutes.
