Corrugated Fiber Bragg Grating Structure with Enhanced Strain Sensitivity

Abstract

Corrugated cladding structure over Bragg grating carrying core is proposed, predominantly from the point of view of strain sensitivity enhancement. Over ten times higher strain sensitivity in comparison to the unetched FBG section is realized.
