RESONANCE MODES IN BIREFRINGENT POLYCRYSTALLINE SPHERE

Abstract

Spectral modes of spherical dielectric resonator are sensitive to defects in the resonator. Modes of a birefringent polycrystalline sphere are studied via discrete dipole approximation and compared to that of an equivalent isotropic sphere.
