Partially Embedded Gold Nanoparticles Glass Capillary as Plasmonic Refractive Index Sensor

Abstract

A label-free and cost effective plasmonic capillary refractive index sensor is presented based on embedded gold nanoparticles. The obtained bulk refractive index sensitivity was found to be 128 nm /RIU.
