Self-assembled High Q WGM Microbottle Resonator using Organic Polymer for Low Threshold Microlasing

Abstract

We demonstrate self-assembly of high-Q microbottle resonator using polymethyl methacrylate as a simple, reliable and cost effective method of fabrication. Low threshold microlasing could be achieved by doping the MBRs with dyes or quantum dots.
