Selective Spectral Narrowing from Distributed Feedback in Dye-doped Polymer-based Heterostructure Cavity

Abstract

A thin PDMS polymer film patterned with grating structures (of two different periods) is overlaid with a DCM dye-doped PMMA film. The laser-induced fluorescence emission shows the role of distributed feedback from the embedded patterns.
