Colorless WDM-OFDM-PON For Long Reach Applications

Abstract

This paper proposed an architecture of colorless WDM-OFDM-PON supporting symmetric data of 10 Gbps over 80 km using direct detection and coherent detection OFDM for downlink and uplink transmissions respectively without any dispersion compensation.
