Network Planning Using Scheduling and Splitting in Elastic Optical Networks

Abstract

Excessive splitting of demands to improve performance adversely affects network. This work details strategies which improve performance by scheduling and selectively splitting demands. Simulation results verify the superiority of proposed strategies.
