Phase-regeneration of DPSK signals by PSA using frequency-shift free optical phase conjugation

Abstract

We propose phase-sensitive amplifier with high extinction ratio using frequency-shift free optical phase conjugation in fiber. Simulation results shows the phase-regeneration of 40-Gbps DPSK signal transmitted over 1000 km standard single-mode fiber.
