Formation of Cascaded Dispersive Wave in Active Silicon-Based Waveguides

Abstract

We numerically demonstrate the formation of dissipative soliton mediated cascaded dispersive waves in active Si-waveguides. We explore the fundamental physics of periodic phase matched radiation by deriving a new governing equation of radiation.
