Abstract

In this presentation a simple approach will be discussed to fabricate uniform periodic surface structures on semiconductor surfaces by femtosecond laser irradiation for controlling the reflectivities of metal surfaces and achieving near zero reflectivities and also prepare the metal surfaces for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) applications.
