Overall/ Subgroup ONU Intercommunication based on Two Stage Flexible PON Network

Abstract

Two-stage remote node based PON-architecture is proposed. Architecture provides inter-ONU communication within all ONUs and/or within subgroup of nearby located ONUs to utilize resources efficiently with minimum power and bandwidth requirement.
