Studies on the thermal regeneration characteristics of seed FBGs of different reflectivity

Abstract

The effect of seed FBG strength on the thermal regeneration characteristics is studied. The regenerated FBG reflectivity scales up non-linearly with the seed FBG reflectivity. These studies will be useful for high temperature sensing applications.
