Amplification of the microlasing modes of polymer fibers

Abstract

Amplification of microlasing modes emitted from polymer fibers has been achieved using a dye doped fiber amplifier. A maximum gain of ~24 dB was observed under stripe pumping scheme employed in the fiber amplifier.
