Terahertz generation from Cadmium Telluride crystal using tunable oscillator laser pulses

Abstract

The paper reports the pulsed terahertz generation from <110>CdTe crystal through optical rectification process using femtoseconds oscillator laser tunable between 780 to 820 nm. The emitted THz radiation is decreased with increase in laser wavelength.
