Long-period grating based bio-sensor for rapid and accurate detection of E.coli bacteria in water

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We will discuss our recent development on long-period-fiber-gratings based bio-sensors for rapid, accurate and quantitative detection of E.coli bacteria in water. The sensor is temperature insensitive over 20-0C, making it ideal for on-site monitoring.
