Non-Local Pair Correlations and Quasi-Crystalline Phases in a 1D Bose Gas

Abstract

We calculate analytically the nonlocal pair correlation function for an interacting, uniform 1D Bose gas at finite temperatures. In certain regimes, the pair correlation exhibits a global maximum at a finite interparticle separation, implying a quasi-crystalline structure.
