Abstract
Energy levels dose to the dissociation limit are of particular interest because of the close relation to work on trapped neutral atoms. Furthermore, the long-range potential energy curves are of inherent interest because of the importance of the nonadiabatic couplings and spin interactions at large internuclear distances in the intermediate region between ordinary molecular physics and long-range atomic physics.
