Abstract

Atomic vapors show very strong nonlinear responds near or at an atomic resonance in degenerate four-wave (DFWM), because of the resonant enhancement of all frequencies involved For that reason, they have been widely studied for possible applications of optical phase conjugation.1 However, optical pumping restricts the number of transitions that can be used.
