Abstract
The J-aggregate of cyanine molecules is attracting many scientists’ attention because it is a typical model for the mesoscopic system with a large third-order optical nonlinearity. Many interesting phenomena, such as superradiance, have been observed1 in the excited-state dynamics of J-aggregates of pseudoisocyanine (PIC) by picosecond absorption and luminescence spectroscopies.
