Abstract

This work is motivated by an effect called by the original authors “quenching of Einstein A coefficients,” which states that the ratio of two spontaneous-emission line intensities I{k = 5801 A) and I(k = 312 A) from a common upper level of C+++ is reduced by an order of magnitude when the electron density of plasma’s Nt changes from 1018to 1019cnr3.1,2
