Abstract

The nonlinear dynamics of a two-level system driven by a modulated optical field show various resonance phenomena that have been extensively studied both theoretically and experimentally (see, for instance, Refs. 1-4 and references therein). To interpret these phenomena one must analyze the quasi-level structure of the driven atom.^5-6
