Quantum correlation between semiconductor-laser photon-flux noise and pump noise near the threshold

Abstract

In the present paper we describe investigations of quantum correlation between photon-flux noise and pump noise in a semiconductor laser near the threshold. The laser was a separate-confinement-heterojunction quantum-well (SCH QW) semiconductor laser at λ = 0.8 μm, similar to that described in Ref. 1. The two-channel- correlation technique with a delay line was used for measurements of quantum correlations.
