Abstract
We report changes in the spatial profile of an optical beam induced by another beam due to Raman-assisted cross-phase modulation (XPM). The effect is enhanced when the difference between the frequencies of the two incident beams is in resonance with the frequency of a vibrational Raman transition of CS, (ωR = 655.7 cm−1).
