Fast processes during conformational dynamics

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Laser pulses trigger T-jumps, inducing conformational changes and permitting studies of protein unfolding. Protein dynamic solvation is observed as the first step. Photo-cleavage initiates peptide dynamics, which is observed over seven orders of magnitude in time.
