Abstract

Semiconductor lasers subjected to optical feedback exhibit a remarkably wide range of complex dynamical behaviors, including instabilities and. chaos. These instabilities have attracted the attention of the research community because instabilities usually degrade performance of the laser in technological applications, and such systems are of fundamental scientific interest.
