Abstract

Intersubband scattering and the processes governing it are of fundamental physical interest and of importance for many device applications. While several measurements of electron intersubband transition times are available, there are very few experimental results on hole intersubband relaxation1 and, to our knowledge, none on hole relaxation for a subband splitting smaller than the LO phonon energy.
