Abstract

The realization of state trapping and its periodic redistribution in a two-level system was predicted in Ref. 1. Recently, in combination with other well-known concepts such as adiabatic rapid passage, multiphoton resonances, and Landau-Zener transitions, it was experimentally demonstrated in a two-level atom (TLA).2
