Abstract

Resonant Faraday rotation can be used to study magnetic and magnetooptic properties of semiconductor microcavities. Polarization rotation of three degrees (3°) were recently observed at a magnetic field intensity of 11 Tesla in a symmetric microcavity containing two (In, Ga)As/GaAs quantum wells.1
