Abstract

Using the high optical power huild-up within a high finesse cavity (HFC), two-photon nonlinear processes have recently been studied with low power cw lasers. In particular, stimulated Raman scattering has been used to construct non-resonant cw Raman lasers with high efficiencies and pump thresholds on the order of lmW1
