Detuning Dependence of Excitonic Optical Stark Effect in Inorganic-organic Layered Semiconductor

Abstract

It has been theoretically discussed that the excitonic optical Stark effect near the resonance is enhanced due to the many-body interaction in semiconductors. Combescot1 predicted that the existence of the stable excitonic molecule results in the red-shift of the exciton resonance. Hulin and Joffre2 observed the red-shift in CuCl with a particular condition. In order to understand the role of the excitonic molecule, it is necessary to investigate the detail of detuning dependence.
