Femtosecond Technology for Optical Clocks

Abstract

This talk will describe recent progress toward developing novel femtosecond laser and nonlinear optical components, generating shorter pulses, producing frequency combs at different wavelengths, controlling pulse timing and optical phase, and locking femtosecond lasers with attosecond precision.
