Nanophotonic Switching using CuCl Quantum Cubes

Abstract

We report the first demonstration of repeated near-field optical switching using cubic CuCl quantum dots by time-resolved optical near-field measurement. Its figure of merit is 10~100 times greater than that of conventional photonic switches.
