Coulomb and carrier dynamics of 1.3 µm quantum dots in tunable two-color pump-probe experiments

Abstract

We report Coulomb renormalization and carrier thermal activation dynamics in self-assembled quantum dots following selective optical excitation in the ground state using a novel two-color pump-probe technique based on soliton self-frequency shift in microstructure fibers.
