Zero-phonon linewidth in self-assembled CdSe quantum dots

Abstract

High-resolution spectral hole burning studies in self-assembled CdSe/ZnSe quantum dots reveal a sharp zero-phonon line as well as contributions due to acoustic phonon- and optical phonon-assisted transitions. Zero-phonon linewidth of a few µeV is obtained.
