Dissipative Bragg solitons in thin film waveguides

Abstract

The dynamics of electromagnetic fields in photonic crystal wavegudes pumped from the top is studied using a coupled mode approximation. The stability of the spatially uniform state and the formation of dissipative solitons are investigated.
