Extraordinary terahertz transmission of elliptical subwavelength hole array

Abstract

We present extraordinary terahertz transmission of an elliptical subwavelength hole array patterned on ultrathin, highly doped silicon. The measured transmission peak frequency shows strong dependence on the surrounding materials.
