Chaotic Behaviors in Three-Level Atomic Optical Bistability System

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated chaotic behaviors in three-level Lambda-type atoms inside an optical cavity. The route to chaos through periodic doubling was observed in the experiment, which could be controlled by the coupling beam parameters.
