Submicron-resolution optical coherence tomography using noncollinear parametric down-conversion

Abstract

Submicron axial resolution in optical coherence tomography is demonstrated using one output beam from a broadband noncollinear parametric down-conversion source. The large spectral bandwidth is achieved by tightly focusing the narrowband pump laser.
