Dissociation of ultracold molecules into atomic d waves

Abstract

We investigate the dissociation of ultracold molecules at a d-wave Feshbach resonance in 87Rb. Interference patterns between the outgoing atomic s and d waves are observed. The atomic d wave exhibits a shape resonance.
