Tunable high-repetition-rate femtosecond pulse generation in the ultraviolet with BiB3O6

Abstract

We report the generation of tunable femtosecond pulses in the ultraviolet using the nonlinear crystal BiB3O6. Average powers of 20mW tunable over 310-355nm at a pulse repetition rate of 76 MHz are demonstrated.
