Abstract

We demonstrate efficient pulse shaping using linearly-chirped gratings fabricated with amplitude masks, based on a novel forward-correction algorithm that maximizes conversion efficiency. ~20% efficiency is achieved experimentally, and can potentially reach >70% with appropriate chirp.
