Fluorescence Spectrum in the Mode of a Cavity QED System

Abstract

We investigate theoretically and experimentally spontaneous emission into the mode of a cavity QED system in the frequency domain. We show that the fluorescence spectrum differs significantly from the vacuum Rabi splitting.
