Solitons in Dispersion-Inverted A1GaAs Nanowires

Abstract

We demonstrate that optical solitons can exist in dispersion-inverted highly-nonlinear A1GaAs nanowires. These self-localized waves are possible at very low power levels in millimeter long nanowire structures.
